S8) Engineering and Electric Power Systems: Geometric Algebra Methods and Applications

Organizers: Francisco G. Montoya, Alfredo Alcayde García

This session is dedicated to the application of modern geometric methods, particularly Geometric Algebra and Geometric Calculus, in Engineering and Electric Power Systems. We will explore how these unifying mathematical frameworks offer elegant and computationally efficient solutions to complex problems.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the unified representation of electromagnetic phenomena, power system stability analysis, the integration of renewable energy sources, and the design and control of electrical machines. We welcome both theoretical and applied work that demonstrates the advantage of these formalisms for modeling multidimensional and non-linear systems, offering new analytical and algorithmic perspectives in the broad field of engineering.

We invite researchers to contribute their advances, fostering an interdisciplinary dialogue to drive innovation in the analysis, design, and operation of modern engineering systems.
