Walking tour to Matsuyama castle

Matsuyama castle is well-known in Japan as one of the three large scale multi-wing castles built on a hill. From the top of the donjon(castle tower), 132meters above sea level, you can enjoy a bird's view of Matsuyama city. The castle was first built in approximately 1600. If you will have enough time, you will be able to enjoy tea ceremony.

Bus tour to Tobe and Kasuri-Kaikan

Tobe is famous for making china(Tobe-yaki). Tobe-yaki is designed as a traditional craftwork by the nation. It is known for its durability. You will visit Tobe-yaki pottery and enjoy designing your original china.

Iyo-Kasuri(splashed pattern) cloth is also a famous local product in Matsuyama. The conference bag is designed by Iyo-Kasuri. The cloth is woven with indigo. In Kasuri-Kaikan, you can see the procedure to make Iyo-Kasuri.

At Kasuri-Kaikan, you will enjoy small lunch.

One day tour to Hiroshima and Miyajima by public transport.

It takes about one hour and half from Matsuyama to Hiroshima city. Hiroshima is very famous for Atomic Bomb Dome, Peace Memorial Museum, and others. Miyajima is very close to Hiroshima. Miyajima and Itsukushima-Shrine in Miyajima are nominated as one of the World Heritage Convention by the UNESCO in 1972.

In morning, the tour starts Matsuyama and crosses inland sea by getting super-jet boat. After sightseeing in Hiroshima and Miyajima, the tour comes back to Matsuyama. Participants to the tour should pay 5,000 Japanese Yen(45US$) or more.
