The Asian Symposium on
Computer Mathematics (ASCM) is a series of conferences
which offers an opportunity for participants to present original
research, to learn of research progress and new developments, and to
exchange ideas and views on doing mathematics using computers.
The 7-th ASCM will be held at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS),
Seoul, Korea. This year, the meeting will focus on computer algebra,
and 78 papers are scheduled to
be presented. A special issue of the Journal of Symbolic Computation
is being planned for the conference.
The previous ASCM 1995, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2003 in the
series were held in Beijing (China), Kobe (Japan), Lanzhou (China),
Chiang Mai (Thailand), Matsuyama (Japan), and Beijing (China)
respectively.
The meeting is hosted by the Korea Institute for
Advanced Study, and sponsored by the Korean Mathematical Society
and the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies.
